The actual quote of the day board!
Hey! Welcome to the quote of the day board! If you're here, that prolly means you read the rules. If not, click here to see them. I hope you enjoy my quote of the day board!
Today's quote (my English teacher said this): "Yes! We're are going to insult and hurt each other before we kill each other! We're civilized men, that's what we do!"
When he said this, our whole period cracked up. I hoped you liked it!

Okay, I'm sorry if this quote offends anyone, but if it does, blame Britta 'cuz she said it : ): "Yeah, for that question I pulled a Palin. I just kept babbling on and on about the reason," I laughed when she said that. You prolly won't get it until you click here.

Re: The actual quote of the day board!
Quote(this is one of my personal faves):
"An English teacher wrote this on the board:
A women without her man is nothing
She told her class to properly punctuate it
All the males in the class did this:
"A woman, without her man, is nothing."
All the females in the class did this:
"A woman: without her, man is nothing,"
PUNCTUATION POWER

My Spanish teacher said this today in class: "Okay, tell me my hair color in Spanish. The white streaks don't count," Our whole class cracked up. If you didn't, I guess it must be the type of "You had to be there" thing.

Okay, if you ask Britta, she'll verify this, but this is what it said on our cookie bags today: "Cookies are little fresh-baked celebrations" but the cookies were hard as rocks!

Re: The actual quote of the day board!
Quote:(this happened at my girl scout camp out. we were going around a circle answering questions. the question was what is the ideal age. i changed the name.)
Bailey: I would want to be 16 because then I get freedom and I don't have to lean on my mom as much.
Bailey's mom: I would be 16 so I could be best friends with Bailey! *smiles*
Bailey: No! Mom! Pick another age!
We all CRACKED UP!!!!!!!
PS Britta will be taking over the QOTD board for a week or so. I'm going to be really busy over the next one or two weeks, so until I can steadily come on again, Britta will be taking over.

"If Barbie's so popular, why do you have to buy her friends?"

Re: The actual quote of the day board!
Okay, I'm just gonna post this one 'cuz I want it to make it up here(it's from the end of the movie National Treasure):
Riley: "By the way, nice house."
Ben: "You know, I chose it because in 1818 Charles Dunworth-"
Riley: "Yeah, yeah. Someone met someone in history and they had fun. Yipee!"
In case you couldn't tell, the "yipee!" was sarcastic.

Re: The actual quote of the day board!
Since Britta hasn't been on recently, I'm going to post the quote for today.
"Dear God, I'll clean my room if you send me a pony. Is it a deal?"
That's from the show Children's Letters to God. Someone did actually write that, though!

A GIRL IN MY CLASS ACTUALLY SAID THIS:
"Have there ever been, like, people who could, like, fly?"
We all burst out laughing!
